Wright Sites x PechaKucha LIVE - 2021
In 2020, Wright Sites x PechaKucha events brought together over 3,000 people from all over the world! Such an enthusiastic response inspired us to carry on with this exciting collaboration between the Westcott House, the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and PechaKucha HQ.

On June 8th, 2021, we are teaming up again to present a live online global event honoring the famed architect’s 154th birthday and celebrate his work and legacy. Wright Sites x PechaKucha vol. 3 will feature presentations in the highly visual and efficient PechaKucha style, which consists of 20 image-based slides that automatically advance after 20 seconds, with each talk lasting only 400 seconds.

This virtual event, scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, will feature curators, homeowners, and scholars, including:

Gilbert Adu-Boampong, “Inspired by Fallingwater”
Karen Ettelson, “Wright on Wheels. Saving Booth Cottage”
Helene Mansheim, “Beth Sholom Synagogue”
Kevin Nute, “Frank Lloyd Wright’s Concept of Organic Form”
Ayad Rahmani, “Frank Lloyd Wright and Ralph Waldo Emerson: Where architecture and literature unite in search of meaning.”
Kathryn Smith, “Harriet and Sam Freeman House: The California Dream"
Steve Siko

This program is free, but we ask you to consider making a donation to help us sustain this collaborative effort. All the proceeds will go directly toward the next volume of Wright Sites x PechaKucha!

Registration for up to 500 attendees is available via Zoom Webinar. Participants are also able to view this live-stream event online at https://www.pechakucha.com/events/frank-lloyd-wright-x-pechakucha-live-2021. Presentations will be available to view within 24 hours after the event.
